Sepp Fuchs
Sepp started flyfishing 39 years ago and has always been trying to unravel the secrets of a river.
One of his trademarks is practicing and perfofming trick casts to avoid obstacles and fish certain currents in a river.
Sepp is always willing to share his knowledge.
He is an international Master flycasting instructor and flytier and gives casting demonstrations at various international events such as the Fly Fair, Danish Fly Festival and FFF Conclave.
Sepp is a member of the Dutch Assosiation of Advanced Flytiers (DAAFT), EFFA Master Flycasting Instructor, member of the EFFA casting department, board member of the Dutch EFFA department and board member of Vliegvisvereniging Voorne-Putten (VV-VP).
He is a certified flyfishing guide by the Hedmark University (No).
Sepp is a very innovative instructor (inventor of the SF-roll cast �a method for training rollcast on the lawn) former Dutch fly casting champion, he has his own fly casting video and is the inventor of the famous welded flyline loops with the use of shrinktubes.
Bas de Bruin
Bas got infected by the fly-fishing virus after a holiday in Sweden in 1995. His first attempt for flyfishing was two years later in Norway after he got his first casting lesson in a parking lot in the Northern Norway. The instructor was a buypassing truckdriver.
But Bas caught his first, small Grayling. And he went home totally hooked!
By intense training he managed to become an avid flycaster and he even won the national flycasting Championship in Holland. In a short time he also became a good flyfisher- and tier. He worked close with the Dutch VNV to train instructors and set the goals for the VNV casting certification program.
Bas is an EFFA Master Instructor and member of the EFFA Casting Advisory Board, Founder and former chairman of the Fly-fishing Club Voorne-Putten (VV-VP), former Chairman of the Dutch EFFA department and former Chairman of the fish management commission of the Oostvoornse Lake and a member of the Vision World Team.
Bas gives presentations about entomology/Fishing for Seatrout/Bonefish/Basic entomology waterstreams gives workshops on flycasting techniques and tactics, gives fly-casting- and fly-tying demo’s and lessons at clubs and fly fishing events such as the Fly Fair, Fly-happening, Visma, Fair for Lure and Fly, Nordic Hunting and Fishing Show, Irish Fly-fair, British FlyFair and so on). He is also an engaging teacher on flyfishing courses in Norway and Denmark (sea trout) and at fly-fishing clubs in the Netherlands.
